Connecting Alumni
A major goal of Maccabi USA Wrestling is to uniting and connect World Maccabiah Games alumni with each other and current and future athletes to facilitate relationships and growth within the community. Whether it is to rekindle friendships, mentor younger alumni, or whatever, Maccabi USA Wrestling wants to connect our community! We have a LinkedIn group and an Maccabi USA Wrestling Alumni directory.
Developing the Next Generation of Athletes
A major function of Maccabi USA Wrestling is to develop the current and future athletes for domestic and international competition. Maccabi USA Wrestling wants to help the Jewish wrestling community grow and thrive in their area, and be ready to compete successfully at higher levels. Improving the current and future generation of Jewish wrestlers will help Maccabi USA Wrestling grow and help the wrestlers achieve their goals! Through camps, clinics, and tournaments, Maccabi USA Wrestling hopes to grow and develop the next generation of athletes for domestic and international wrestling opportunities
Contributing to the Growth of Maccabi USA
Following the mission of our parent organization, Maccabi USA, helping to grow Jewish pride through sport. Maccabi USA Wrestling strengthens Maccabi USA’s mission by fostering Jewish identity, pride, and community through elite competition and international athletic experiences. By organizing national tournaments and creating a "brotherhood" for Jewish wrestlers, it increases participation, promotes connection to Israel, and helps cultivate the next generation of Jewish athletes.Because Maccabi USA wrestling provides a platform for Jewish wrestlers to connect with others across the US and the world, it strengthens the overall Maccabi movement.
